Dr Peter Lewis
Medical Director and Founder
MBBS, FAARM, Dip. Sports Med
Dr Peter Lewis has been an Australian registered medical practitioner since 1983, being a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery graduate from Monash University. In 1988, he completed a post-graduate diploma in Sports Medicine.
He is an expert in the field of sports medicine, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), a regenerative medicine treatment. This can be used for many sport injuries such as tendon tears, as well as medical conditions such as osteoarthritis. He was one of the first clinicians in Australia to offer PRP treatment, and is now widely considered the most experienced.
In his role as a general practitioner, he is involved in the clinical training of medical and nursing students. He is the current chairman of the Australian Ringside Medical Association and the presiding doctor for most boxing and kickboxing fights in Victoria.
Dr Lewis is the CEO of Central Melbourne Institute, a forerunner institute providing health sciences and management courses. He also has a wealth of experience working, lecturing and educating on the topics of PRP and stem cell therapies in Australia and other countries worldwide.

Dr David Sacks
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip. Dermatology
Dr Sacks graduated from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 2001. Working in London and South Africa, he and his family now reside here in Australia.
Dr Sacks has nearly a decade of experience in sports and regenerative medicine and is skilled with PRP and cell therapies.

Dr Azi Mehrvarz
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Azi graduated from medicine in 2005, and gained experience working as a Hospital Medical Officer in a variety of disciplines across public health services for over four years. She went on to pursue a career in general practice and obtained her RACGP fellowship in 2016. She has worked in Bendigo, Cohuna and Melbourne.
Dr Azi has a special interest in Women’s Health and Sports Medicine. She is dedicated to providing the best level of care to her patients.
She enjoys spending time with her children, living an active lifestyle, baking and trying new healthy recipes in her spare time.

Steve Moar
BAppSc (Phys Ed), Dip Acup, Grad Dip. Human Nutrition
With more than 30 years experience and tertiary level qualifications in exercise physiology and exercise science, acupuncture, nutrition, and remedial massage, Steve brings together a range of mainstream and complimentary therapies to deliver the best possible results for all our patients.
He incorporates his wide-ranging body of knowledge and multi-modality approach to provide effective solution-focused treatment for a range of conditions including chronic back and joint pain, headaches and migraines, osteoarthritis, sports and musculoskeletal injuries, chronic fatigue, diabetes, balance issues and fall prevention, pre & post joint surgery rehabiltation, and cancer recovery.

Dr Maz Mansoury
MD, AMC Cert, FACEM, GDip in Clin Teaching University of Melbourne
Dr Maz Mansoury is an Australian-trained Emergency Physician interested in regenerative medicine and managing sports injuries.
He completed his Emergency Medicine Training through major Victorian Hospitals. He is currently working as an Emergency Medicine Specialist in major metropolitan and regional trauma centres and is actively involved in education and research.
Dr Maz's purpose is to provide patients with a comprehensive approach to health and wellness using customised medicine protocols.

"On" Sirion Hongsopha
Cosmetic Nurse
On is a Registered Nurse and an Australian Catholic University graduate. She has extensive experience training other nurses how to administer PRP injections in Thailand and Australia.
On is passionate about regenerative medicine, particularly cosmetic PRP. She has over a decade of experience using PRP for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration.

Dr Rob Weiss
MBBS, MA, GDMM, MClEpid, MPainMed, PCertMedEd, AFRACMA, FFPMANZCA
Dr Rob Weiss is a University of Melbourne graduate who has worked in General Practice since 1984.
Over his career, he has developed experience in all aspects of general practice.
His special interests include mental health, substance use disorders and musculoskeletal medicine including soft tissue and joint injectables.

Dr Charlotte Ho
Clinical and Forensic Psychologist
Dr Charlotte has over 15 years’ experience working in both private health and public systems. She holds a Bachelor degree in Social Science (Family Studies), a Doctoral degree in Forensic Psychology, and a master degree in Clinical Psychology. Charlotte is a member of Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), an APS Forensic College fellow, and is a Psychology Broad of Australia (PBA) approved supervisor.
Her areas of work include treatment planning, intervention, clinical (cognitive functioning, behavioural, mental health) and specialist forensic (psychosexual risk, violence, parenting, protective capacity, family-related) assessment, report writing, and testimony. Dr Charlotte has prepared reports for Australian Courts regarding family and children’s matters.
Dr Charlotte is also fluent in Cantonese.

Rachel Joustra
Clinical and Organisational Psychologist
Rachel has over 10 years of experience working in health, public sector and emergency services. She holds Masters degrees in both Clinical and Organisational Psychology, is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a board approved supervisor.
Rachel has experience working with children, adolescents and adults to assist them lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Additionally, Rachel has had considerable experience with coaching and helping people create positive lifestyle changes and develop strategies to meet their career and life goals. Rachel strongly believes that counselling is a collaborative approach and draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help people achieve their goals.

Elisa Morel
Registered Psychologist
Elisa has 12 years of experience working in the public and private sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Psychology and Family Studies) and is a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.
Elisa has experience working with a wide variety of presenting issues and mental health concerns. Strength and resilience focused, Elisa provides therapy tailored to each individual, collaborating with them to reach their goals.
Elisa has well established counselling, assessment and treatment planning skills. She is a holistic practitioner with interests in the benefits of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in combination with yoga practice, nutritional medicine and art therapy.

"App" Punwisa Srisang
Nutritionist
App holds a Masters degree in Biotechnology and food science from RMIT university and has a genuine passion for natural and regenerative medicine.
With a great depth of knowledge and experience locally and internationally, App is responsible for planning and delivering dietary and nutritional advice to our patients and manages the coordination of nutritional programs on a global scale.

Hannah Wilson
Registered Nurse
Hannah has been working with Surecell since 2015. Starting out on the front desk as a receptionist, she found her passion in nursing and worked her way up to being a Practice Nurse.
She completed a Diploma of Nursing in 2019 and obtained her Bachelor of Nursing in 2021.

Tran Bao Chau
Registered Nurse
Chau holds a Masters degree in Nursing Practice from Curtin University. She joined Surecell in 2019 and is looking to further her nursing career in regenerative medicine.
She currently works alongside Dr Lewis and also helps with the training of new nurses.

Benjamin Humphris
Physiotherapist
Ben is a physiotherapist with an interest in alternative therapy and traditional methods, which he has combined to make a hybrid approach to Physiotherapy. Ben utilises all of his manual therapy techniques combined with targeted strength and conditioning rehabilitation in order to achieve the best and most effective outcome with his clients.
He complements every client with their own strength and conditioning (rehab) programs to rebuild strength and recondition their body. Ben has had additional training in Myotherapy and Remedial Massage, Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic and Exercise Science.

Therese Stegley
Physiotherapist
Therese is a physiotherapist who has a great passion for all things women’s health, strength and conditioning, and sports. Over the years, she has worked with various professional sporting teams, and individuals, from the AFL and AFLW.
For years, Therese has treated professional and amateur body builders, martial arts athletes, and dancers. From this work, she has comprehensive experience in treating all sports injuries, and understands what it takes to take somebody from an injury, to playing elite level sport in a timely fashion.

Andres Jackson
Massage Therapist
Andres is a Massage Therapist with a great passion for sports and helping people achieve their highest level of performance in life. Dedicated to tennis professionally back in his home country Chile, he understands what it takes to submit his mind, soul and body completely.
Andres transfers that experience to all of his clients through his work to optimise individual physical performance, and reduce systemic stress.

Dr Teong Chuah
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip. Dermatology
Dr Teong has been a rural GP for the past 15 years. He has a special interest in regenerative medicine, PRP treatment in osteoarthritis, back pain, bursitis and musculoskeletal injuries, diabetes, skin cancer procedures including ear and nose skin graft, weight loss, PRP cosmetic procedures and stem cell procedures.
Dr Chuah has been working with skin cancer medicine for more than 10 years.

Dr Aston Wan
MBBS, MA, GDMM, MClEpid, MPainMed, PCertMedEd, AFRACMA, FFPMANZCA
Dr Aston is a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. Previously he was the Director of Persistent Pain at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane and the Metro South Health.
His current interests include Regenerative and Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Dr Atef Asham
MBBS, MSc, FRACGP
Dr Asham received his medical degree from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1992. He then went on to gain a Masters degree in Cardiology in 2000.
As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr Asham brings a solid base of knowledge and experience to this practice. His medical interests include chronic disease management, cardiovascular care and PRP treatments in joints.

Dr Ananta Kolesky

Dr Ananta Kolesky was born and raised in South Africa, graduating from the University of the Orange Free State in 1999.
She moved to Australia in 2003. Dr. Kolesky has 15 years experience in Emergency Medicine, as well as 8 years worth of experience in practicing General, Functional and Anti-Ageing Medicine.
Dr Kolesky's passion in medicine is to find the root cause of illness and address that by practicing preventative and lifestyle medicine. Her love of PRP stems from her belief that natural is always better.

Dr Taufiq Binjemain

Dr Binjemain graduated from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2000. He then completed his basic surgical training and obtained his Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2005.
He trained in Family Medicine and obtained his Membership from the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2011, the Canadian Family Physician Board Certification (CCFP) in 2012 and a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.

Dr Welson Jao
MBchB, DCH, FRACGP, AAMM cert. MSK medicine
Dr Welson Jao was born in Taiwan and grew up in New Zealand, graduating from the University of Otago in 2009. Having worked in several major hospitals in Queensland, he later completed his fellowship with Royal College of General practitioner in 2019.
Dr Jao’s passion in medicine is to relieve pain without the need of long term pain medications because he understands the devastating impact of chronic pain on one’s life and the addictive nature of the drug. This is the driving force for his pursuit of professional skills in acupuncture, regenerative medicine and laser therapy.

Dr Taciano has earned specialist recognition as an orthopaedic surgeon in the Philippines. He now works as a GP and regenerative medicine doctor with a special interest in PRP. His clinic is located in Hornsby, Northern Sydney.

Dr Dianne King

Dr Dianne King graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1989 and has been practising as a family GP for over 20 years. She has special interests in skin cancer medicine, surgery, dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Having seen the great results of the healing and regenerative properties of PRP through her use of it in her skin repair practice, Dr King undertook further training regarding its use in musculoskeletal indications and enjoys working in this new and exciting field of medicine.

Dr Satbir Aulakh

Dr Satbir Aulakh has wealth of local experience and is an active community member. He has worked as a GP since December 2007, and completed his fellowship with Royal Australian College of GPs in 2009.
Dr Aulakh provides treatment and management of chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, seronegative arthritis, and neurological disorders including Parkinson’s Disease and tremors. He is also a qualified cosmetic physician and is skilled in treatment with anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers. He has a strong interest and belief in the benefits of regenerative medicine.
