ReCreation Medical Centre delivers quality healthcare to the community through a number of medical centres, operating 7 days per week.
We are looking for a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our Sports and Regenerative Medicine practice, Surecell. We pride ourselves on providing a positive experience for our patients, professional staff, allied health providers and doctors.
Casual, part-time and full-time positions available.
Main responsibilities will include:
Being the face of the clinic and the first point of contact for patients
Managing telephone inquiries and scheduling appointments
Reception and general administration duties including processing patients from appointment to waiting room
Patient billing and receipting and ensuring complete accuracy with this process
Being the doctors' go-to person and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
Medicare batching and reconciliation, Workcover, DVA, and management of EFTPOS machines
Skills and Experience:
You will be friendly, vibrant and love being part of a close team
Some knowledge of MBS item numbers is preferred
You will have excellent computer and presentation skills
You will have the ability to multitask
Some experience using Medical Director and PracSoft, and an understanding of a doctor's workflow when booking appointments
Flexible with your time
Previous medical reception experience preferred
Cert 3 in Medical Administration will be favourably considered
